What we collect
Account info (email, display name, avatar), listing content you submit, swap and message history, payment metadata from Creem (never your full card number), and standard product analytics (page views, referrers). If you opt in through a newsletter form, we also store your email address, signup source, consent timestamp, and unsubscribe status.
How we use it
To run the marketplace, match swap partners, prevent fraud, send transactional emails (proposals, receipts, dispute updates), and improve the product. Optional newsletter signups are used only for the product updates and swap guidance described beside the signup form; they are separate from transactional messages. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter email. We do not sell your data.
Who we share with
Creem (payments), our email and hosting/database providers (including to deliver messages you request and store subscription preferences), and analytics tooling. We do not share newsletter signups with third parties for their own marketing.
Your rights
Export or delete your data any time from Settings → Data. GDPR/CCPA requests: privacy@heysaas.co.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and lightweight analytics cookies. No third-party advertising cookies.
Retention
We keep account data while your account exists, and payment/audit records for the period required by law (typically 7 years). Newsletter signup records are kept while a subscription is active; when you unsubscribe, we retain the opt-out status so we can honor your preference.
