What is my SaaS worth?

Enter a few numbers to see the range small SaaS products and content businesses actually trade in. No email required, nothing stored — the calculation runs in your browser.

Estimated range
$36,000 – $72,000

Most likely around $54,000 — based on growing on revenue, trading at roughly 1.5–3× annual recurring revenue.

  • Revenue not yet verifiable through read-only Stripe access

This is a heuristic based on how small products actually trade — not an appraisal, and not financial advice. Real prices depend on category, buyer fit, and how the deal is structured.

How the multiple works

Small SaaS products are priced as a multiple of annual recurring revenue. Growth sets the band; everything else adjusts within it.

Revenue stateTypical multiple
Declining or flat1–2× ARR
Stable (under 1% monthly growth)1.5–2.5× ARR
Growing (1–3% monthly growth)2–3.5× ARR
Fast-growing (3–6% monthly)3–5× ARR
High-growth (over 6% monthly, low churn)4–7× ARR

What moves the number most

  • Churn. A product growing 3% a month with 8% monthly churn is shrinking underneath, and buyers price that in immediately.
  • Owner dependency. If the product needs the founder 20 hours a week, the incoming owner is buying a job, and only a small number of buyers want one.
  • Verifiable numbers. Read-only Stripe access is worth real money because it removes the discount applied to every unverifiable claim.
  • Category and buyer pool. A product with obvious strategic value to a handful of operators can beat its band; a product nobody recognises rarely does.
  • Deal structure. An all-cash sale, a swap, and a swap with a cash bridge produce different outcomes at the same nominal valuation.

Your number is only half the question

Knowing what something is worth does not tell you whether to sell it for cash or swap it for another product. Those are different decisions with different costs — compare the two exit paths before you commit, and run the numbers through a due diligence checklist before you agree to anything.

Frequently asked questions

How do you value a SaaS business?
Small SaaS products are valued as a multiple of annual recurring revenue. The multiple rises with growth and falls with churn, owner dependency and unverifiable numbers. Content sites and storefronts are usually valued as a multiple of monthly profit instead.
What multiple should I expect for my SaaS?
For small products, rough ranges are 1.5–2.5× ARR when revenue is flat, 2–3.5× when it is growing steadily, 3–5× for fast growth, and 4–7× for high growth with low churn. Subtract roughly 0.5–1× if churn is high, the owner is essential, or revenue cannot be verified.
Does a swap count toward valuation?
Yes. In a swap the value you receive is the worth of the asset you take on, not cash. Founders compare the value of both sides of the exchange and add a cash bridge when the two are unequal.
Is this valuation calculator accurate?
It is a heuristic, not an appraisal. It reflects the ranges small products actually trade in, but real prices depend on category, buyer fit, deal structure and the quality of your numbers. Use it to frame a conversation, not to fix a price.
